Employee Appreciation is always needed

When a job is done well we all look for recognition. An article in Forbes titled " 25 Low-Cost Ways To Reward Employees", got Akutagawa International thinking. It is true being rewarded or acknowledged for our hard work keeps us motivated. The article also goes on to state that "Research shows that feeling appreciated-which comes from recognition from others-is one of the top three drivers of employee engagement."

Some suggestions in the article included:

1. A simple thank you can actually go a really long way.
2. Throw a pizza or sushi lunch party.
3. Present individuals with small awards for going above and beyond.
4. Consider a one-on-one dinner or lunch
5. Gift cards for coffee, movies, or lunch
6. Run a special blog article or Newsletter about the employee and their work.

All of these suggestions are excellent and very similar to the ones mentioned in the article on Forbes.com. Visit Forbes.com to find more articles like " 25 Low-Cost Ways To Reward Employees."
